Stephen Kinker

ABOUT

Prior to becoming the head of Risk Intelligence, Stephen was a senior U.S. intelligence officer who served in various intelligence positions with the Department of Defense. He was selected as a Defense Intelligence Senior Leader (DISL) in 2006.

Stephen is a career federal employee who has served in a variety of intelligence positions with the Department of Defense for approximately 50 years. He was selected as a Defense Intelligence Senior leader (DISL) in December 2006. Since September 2013, he has served as the Director of the Combined Joint Intelligence Operations Center, Assistant Chief of Staff C2, Combined Forces Command, Republic of Korea. In this capacity, he provides oversight and daily direction for over 70 U.S. and ROK personnel conducting all-source, multi-spectrum intelligence operations ranging from indications and Warming to future estimates. He previously served as the J2, USFK Senior Analyst from December 1999 through August 2012. Stephen’s previous assignments include: Voice Processing Specialist and Senior Linguist Evaluator and Trainer, 6903rd Electronic Security Squadron, Osan AB, ROK; Korean Language Interpreter, translator, and debriefer, Detachment 32, Pacific Special Activities Area, Seoul, ROK; Operational Support Specialist, Administrative Support Detachment, US Army Intelligence and Security Command, Ft.
