Steve serves as Chief Executive Officer of D&A Advisory’s Washington, D.C. headquarters and as Special Advisor to the firm. He brings decades of leadership experience spanning government service, multinational corporate security, and private-sector risk advisory.

Over the course of his career, he has established and led multiple risk advisory and security firms, including Lee & Partners Pacific and SKL Security. Prior to founding these ventures, Steve directed major security operations for two multinational corporations in the Asia Pacific, where he had responsibility for over 200 facilities, enabling him to amass widespread experience in strategic planning and decision-making regarding security and business interests, as well as corporate intelligence and crisis management. Before entering the private sector, Steve retired as a senior officer in the United States Army. His military career included extensive Infantry, Military Police, and Intelligence assignments, primarily across Asia. He served as U.S. Army Attaché to both Korea and Thailand, where he advised U.S. Ambassadors on intelligence matters related to U.S. government and Department of Defense interests. Steve’s career reflects a rare combination of operational leadership, strategic advisory experience, and regional expertise, positioning him as a trusted advisor to senior executives navigating geopolitical, security, and operational risk.
